Hi friends! I discovered a great quote today; with the current condition of our nation, I felt it appropriate. I hope it makes a few people sit up and think:

“Many people would be scared if they saw in the mirror, not their faces… but their character.”  — Author unknown

Good morning, friends! It’s Wednesday again, my favorite Twitter day!

Today’s theme is “nickname”, and I chose a line from my soon-to-be-published thriller, “Essex Valley – A Quiet, Nice Little Town”. It’s set in California’s Redwood Empire, about a man and his teenage daughter who, after suffering a huge life loss, move to the valley to begin a new life. Strange occurrences and odd characters soon have the father wondering if he’s made the wrong decision.

“Brian, Carl, & Freddy, the King of Creepy, the Prince of Peril and the Duke of Doom — and those nicknames are interchangeable.” #1lineWed

Good morning, friends! It’s #1lineWed again, my favorite Twitter day. Today’s theme: scent/smell. This is a line from my current work-in-progress, now tentatively titled, “The Mink Man”:

Loud indie music, the smell of old beer, stale cigarettes, and a light scent of urine hit him almost like a slap across the face.

Hi friends. I stumbled upon this quote this afternoon, and it truly sums up my frustrations with being a published author, yet undiscovered, and lost in the mix: “To gain your own voice, you have to forget about having it heard.”
